Pebbles Catering is the partnership of East Preston villagers, Denise Whisson and Jenny Blackmore.
Denise has been working in the catering trade for over 30 years, originally trained in Worthing then moving to London where she worked as a 2nd Pastry Chef in the Mayfair Hotel. Jenny has worked mainly in finance and her role in the business is dealing with all the accounts, as well as helping out at our larger events.
In 2006, Denise and Jenny took over Prestons Coffee Shop/Restaurant, based in the heart of East Preston village. It was here that Denise’s reputation for producing quality homemade meals, desserts, cakes and gateauxs grew. In 2007, Prestons extended and began supplying sandwich platters, finger and fork buffets, catering for all events.
In October 2013, selling the restaurant side of the business and moving to new premises, Pebbles Catering was established and opened in the village, offering a catering service, a shop full of home made cakes/pastries and a take-away service of cakes/sandwiches/soups/drinks and continuing our event catering.
